Developed by Yogi Amrit Desai, founder of Kripalu Yoga, Amrit Yoga is a highly refined ancient yogic technique that is a gentle meditative practice appropriate for all levels of students; from first time to advanced. By exploring yogic philosophy, the inner dimensions of yoga are revealed through focused intention and integrated awareness. The practice integrates the "doing" of the postures with the quiet inner stillness of "Being" within yourself. Witness consciousness is used as a primary tool to experience the intelligence of the body leading to an innate inner stillness. The meditative qualities of the Amrit Yoga method, allows the natural balance & integration of body, mind, heart and soul. Yoga means Unity- unity of mind, body and spirit. Sheri Lawrence is a Licensed Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor who believes in the great power of bringing these two processes together for the ultimate, long lasting healing. In these sessions you will learn Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to tackle your current life situations in conjunction with gentle movements, that anyone at any age and level of fitness can do, and breath work to heal the nervous system. You will learn how to incorporate these mindfulness based yogic practices into your daily life for recovery and long lasting maintenance. These are intensive integrative therapy sessions lasting 90 minutes therefor is not covered by insurance. The cost is $150 per session or can be bought in bundles of 3 sessions for a discount of 10% bringing the price to $405. You will be guaranteed 3 weeks in a row for optimal healing as these sessions are not in the regular schedule which is often booked for weeks in advanced.



Sheri is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Yoga Alliance 200 hr Registered Yoga Instructor. Sheri practiced for her own stress relief and mind body connections for 5 years before seeing how much Yoga and the art of counseling intersected. Yoga changed the way Sheri counseled bringing in more balance, unity and kindness into her therapeutic practice with individuals and couples. After feeling a desire to learn and teach Yoga, Sheri joined the 200 hr program and The Lotus Pond in Tampa, FL. The Lotus Pond Program brings in multiple teachers from around the country who have had the honor of working along such founders of Yoga as Iyengar and teachers who are in masters degree programs from Harvard in Mindfulness. The teaching at the Lotus Pond was invaluable and married counseling and yoga together beautifully. Sheri will be teaching Hatha Yoga at a level that everyone can participate and will also be teaching Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra ® , which she is certified and trained to instruct. Yoga Nidra is a practice done while lying down in a comfortable position and being guided in meditation. Sheri's hope, through Serenity Wellness Services, is to bring balance to the mind and body to all who navigate through the day to day stress that today's busy lifestyles bring. Namaste.


Bradley is a professional sculptor and a certified Amrit Yoga Instructor who has been practicing eastern thought methods and yoga for over 40 years.

He first met his teacher, Yogi Amrit Desai through Mickey Singer at the Temple of the Universe in the late 1970's. He received his training personally from Yogi Desai & his daughter Kamini at the Amrit Yoga Institute in 2005.

For the past 8 years he has been teaching both publicly and privately in the Tampa Bay Area.

Bradley focuses his creativity with compassion, to skillfully deliver the essence of the experiential nature of true yoga. His classes include insight into the ancient Yogic sciences, simple breathing and postures merging into meditation. He lovingly combines his many years of art making and yoga practice into an authentic yogic experience that deeply engages his students.
